At 65 he is currently the fourth-oldest manager in MLB and the one initially hired to the job at the oldest age. But the world works in mysterious ways, and now, to the surprise of most everyone in baseball, Snitker is in his sixth year as manager of the Braves, having led them to three consecutive NL East titles and, last season, to within one game of the World Series. ![]()
